The 2024 NFL Draft is this week, and several Auburn football players will be hoping to hear their names called. Ahead of the big weekend, let's revisit the 2023 NFL Draft and the former Auburn Tigers that were selected.
The first former Auburn football player to be called was linebacker Derick Hall. In Round 2 of the draft, Hall was selected as the 37th overall pick by the Seattle Seahawks. Next up was running back Tank Bigsby, who was selected as the 88th overall pick in the third round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spent three seasons with Auburn football and recorded 2,903 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns in addition to 448 receiving yards.
Defensive lineman Colby Wooden went next, selected by the Green Bay Packers as the 116th overall pick in the fourth round.
