After a big win at home over No. 15 Mississippi State, the Auburn basketball team will hit the road once again to take on the No. 23 Georgia Bulldogs in Athens.

The Tigers will head into the game with a 16-1 record and no conference losses. Meanwhile, the Dawgs are 14-3 and have gone 2-2 in conference play with losses to Tennessee and Ole Miss, two other ranked programs. However, Georgia did beat No. 8 Kentucky by over 10 points just over a week ago.

Auburn basketball has had a challenging time in road games, playing it close with both Texas and South Carolina, and this weekend the Tigers will again be without Johni Broome and will have to prepare well to get another win on the road. Here are some key quotes from the team ahead of tomorrow's matchup.

Head coach Bruce Pearl on the evolution of Georgia Basketball, per Auburn Undercover:

"It's the most talented team they've had at Georgia in a while. Georgia has made a real commitment in NIL. A tremendous commitment. We used to go to Georgia and because of the fact that we've had success, developed players, we got about six guys from Georgia in the NBA right now, we could go over there and do really well in recruiting. For a lot of factors including NIL, we can't go there and get the best players anymore."

Pearl on Baker-Mazara's composure, per Auburn Rivals:

“The scouting report will be to try and hit him and hold him and grab him and have some extracurricular contact with him and that stuff would upset any player. But he gets it every single night. He'll get it at Georgia. He'll get it against Tennessee next week. But he has done a better job sort of realizing this is just how people are gonna guard me to try to stop me, and he's done, I would say, just learning and handling his passion. He's so passionate and he's such an effective player that he's playing through some of that garbage.”

Dylan Cardwell on the Tigers' early leads on the road this season, per Auburn Undercover:

"It's really important. You saw it at Duke, it kept us in the game when we started off with a 13-2 lead. That was a game we lost, but it gives the away team confidence starting out hot, and it can take the crowd out of the game early."

The Tigers and the Dawgs will tip-off from Athens tomorrow at noon central time.
