This past Saturday of SEC football saw almost everything: close calls, a coach in Gainesville even closer to getting the axe, a Red River Rivalry blowout and some of the worst officiating anyone has ever seen.

Well, that last part could be about any week, but don't try telling that to Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze and athletic director John Cohen. There are two teams clearly at the top in Alabama and Texas A&M, but the Crimson Tide have a test with a visit from Tennessee this week, while Ole Miss, fresh off a mediocre performance against Washington State, travels to Athens to battle Georgia.

With most teams now halfway through their SEC schedule, let's take a look at the conference power rankings heading into Week 8.
