Six Auburn Tigers have been named to the Preseason Coaches All-SEC teams heading into the 2025 college football season.
Keldric Faulk and Cam Coleman were voted onto the first team by the conference coaches. Faulk, one of the most sought-after defensive players for the 2026 NFL Draft, returns for his junior season after recording 45 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, seven quarterback hurries, a fumble forced and a pass broken up in 2024. As a freshman, Coleman caught 37 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns.
Eric Singleton Jr., the top wide receiver in the transfer portal this offseason, is voted onto the second team. Playing at Georgia Tech last season, the Douglasville, Ga., native put up 56 receptions for 754 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for a score.
Another key transfer, Xavier Chaplin from Virginia Tech, joins his fellow offensive lineman Connor Lew on the third team, as well as placekicker Alex McPherson. After a perfect 2023 season in which he made all 40 point-after attempts and 13 field goal attempts, McPherson missed most of last season due to illness.
Auburn travels to Waco, Texas, to battle Baylor on Friday, August 29th, to start the 2025 season.
