The latest US LBM Coaches Poll is out after Week 2 of the 2025 college football season, and the Auburn Tigers are still getting no respect as they remain in the receiving votes section.

Granted, the Tigers didn't look like they ran on all cylinders in the 42-3 victory over Ball State on Saturday night in Jordan-Hare Stadium, but there's one big problem: SMU, which lost at home to Baylor on Saturday in double overtime, received more votes than Hugh Freeze's squad despite the Tigers going down to Waco, Texas, in Week 1 and beating the Bears 38-24.

The Tigers received 57 votes, putting them at 31st in the rankings, one spot behind Florida, which was upset in The Swamp on Saturday night by USF.

Alabama, after its embarrassing loss to Florida State in the season's opening week, jumped up two spots after beating UL-Monroe 73-0.

Auburn returns to Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday to take on South Alabama before starting SEC play next week at Oklahoma.
