In the midst of the excitement for the Final Four, the Auburn basketball program got some good news from the transfer portal. Former UCF Knight Keyshawn Hall, who is ranked as the No. 3 power forward in the transfer portal, has committed to head coach Bruce Pearl and the Tigers. He chose Auburn over several programs including Arkansas and Kansas.

"He was considered one of the top players available in the portal because of his shocking versatility — he can score, rebound, dribble and pass well enough to play shooting guard, wing or even stretch forward," wrote Jay G. Tate on Auburn Rivals.

Tate also reports that Hall is one of the nation's leaders in drawing fouls and attempted 244 free throws this season while shooting 82 percent at the line. To compare, Johni Broome has attempted 194 free throws this season.

During the 2024-25 season with UCF, his only season in Orlando, Hall averaged 18.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from behind the arc. He was named to the All-Big-12 second team last year.

Prior to his time at UCF, Hall spent one season at George Mason, and before that began his career at UNLV.

Hall is the first transfer to commit to the Tigers, who will have to do a significant amount of work reloading their roster next season with only two underclassmen— Tahaad Pettiford and Jahki Howard— on the roster. Auburn will welcome a trio of freshmen next season in guard Kaden Magwood, forward Sebastian Williams-Adams, and wing Simon Walker alongside former JUCO wing Abdul Bashir who committed to the Tigers in February.
