It's only day two of the transfer portal window, but the Auburn football coaching staff have been moving quickly. One of the most important parts of recruiting in the transfer portal is setting up visits as soon as possible with priority targets, and there is a growing list of prospects who will be checking out the Plains.

There hasn't been any news regarding transfer portal quarterbacks, but the coaching staff is clearly going after targets at offensive line and wide receiver, which will be two positions of need for the Tigers.

Things develop quickly, so at any moment there could be more players who set visits with the Tigers, but as of now, here is a roundup of those who have planned a trip to the Plains.

Many transfers are planning to visit this week:

  • WR Eric Singleton (Georgia Tech) - Ranked as the #1 player out of the transfer portal, is cousins with Darvin Adams, almost went to Auburn out of high school. Major target for the Tigers. He will also visit Georgia and Ole Miss.
  • OL Josh Thompson (Northwestern) - Has one year of eligibility left and will also visit Michigan State and Ohio State.
  • OL Wendell Moe Jr. (Arizona) - Experienced guard with lots of starts for the Wildcats.
  • S Zechariah Poyser (Jacksonville State) - Expected to visit LSU and Florida this week, as well.
  • RB Durell Robinson (UConn) - Rushed for 731 yards and eight touchdowns. Picked up 75 receiving yards.
  • TE Bauer Sharp (Oklahoma) - Expected to visit LSU and Ole Miss this week, as well. An Alabama native.

Head coach Hugh Freeze and his staff are also stacking up visits for next week:

  • WR Horatio Fields (Wake Forest) - Georgia native with two years of eligibility left. Recorded 31 catches and four touchdowns in 2024.
  • RB Ahmad Harvey (Louisiana Monroe) - Ranked as the #1 transfer running back by On3. Scheduled to visit Ole Miss this week prior to Auburn.
