Which recruits have officially signed with Auburn football on early signing day?
It's early national signing day, and things have been going pretty well for the Auburn football program. Many recruits got an early start on the day, officially signing the papers and pledging to become a Tiger.
There were a slew of signees early this morning, all of whom were firm on their commitment to Auburn, and so far, there has been only one negative surprise for the Tigers in the form of Shamar Arnoux. The 4-star cornerback from Carrollton, Georgia, had been committed to Auburn since mid-November, but flipped in a surprise move to Florida State.
Everything else has gone smoothly, so far. 5-star edge rusher Jared Smith, who had been flirting with South Carolina and Ole Miss, came through for the orange and blue and has officially signed with head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers. Also official is Anquon Fegans, who was giving a little too much attention to Alabama heading into today.
The Tigers got their quarterback, too, in 5-star Deuce Knight. The Mississippi QB confirmed he will be heading to the Plains on his Instagram live at his school's signing ceremony. Tough day for Ole Miss.
A surprise for today is the flip of 3-star defensive lineman Darrion Smith. The Baltimore native has been committed to Tennessee since July, but flipped today to Auburn.
