The 2014 season has been entertaining enough to say the least. The Auburn Tigers are 5-1 thus far and prepare to take on South Carolina this Saturday. The team will be motivated more than ever. Losing to Mississippi State could be the fire needed to keep the Tigers pushing through the final stretch.
I predict the Tigers to follow similar to the spread and the game should conclude with Auburn winning big at home.

Speaking of recruits, have you gotten to know the upcoming Auburn football recruiting class? So far 2015 seems to be a promising and will continue to be through the end of the year.
First we have Kerryon Johnson from Madison, Alabama. The Madison Academy senior has already started this year off on the right track. In August he rushed for 200+ yards against Leeds high school. Johnson is 6-0 and 200 pounds and is listed as an athlete. Also to mention he is ranked #24 on the ESPN Top 300! He is the #3 in the athlete slot and committed to Auburn on 04/15/2014.
Kerryon Johnson is an animal and loves to be fed the ball. He can utilize his speed and his vision to find the end zone. Here is a clip of him hurdling over a defender for your amusement!
The best part is that he will also be familiar with other positions on the field. He plays safety on the defensive side of the ball. It is always beneficial to have knowledge of the game beyond one position. Auburn utilizes players and has relative success doing it. Who could forget Kodi Burns? That first touchdown in the 2010 season seems like yesterday.
Another player to keep your sights on is Richard McBryde. McBryde is a 6-2, 210 outside linebacker that knows how to hit. The senior from Charles Henderson High School loves to stop the run. He is fast and extremely aggressive at the line. He is currently ranked #65 in the ESPN Top 300.
Auburn needs a dynamic linebacker like McBryde to help stop the run. In recent years Auburn has not done to well stopping the SEC rushing attack. McBryde is someone who can fit well into the Ellis Johnson mold. Defense is what Auburn is looking to bring to the table in 2015.
Eight of the twenty players that have committed so far are on defense. That does not include various players in the athletic position either.
Gus Malzahn has continued his habit of recruiting top JUCO transfers. In the 2015 recruiting class sits Tony Bridges. He is listed as the No. 1 JUCO cornerback in the nation. The 6-2, 185lb cornerback is one of those defensive players that is a very hard hitter.
Sure that was a targeting call, but his aggressiveness is something the Tigers are going to need on defense when Robenson Therezie graduates and is no longer there to clean up.
Bridges would be able to contribute immediately and add to a growing Tigers defense. Adding key players like Bridges to the secondary ultimately will help the Tigers have a well-rounded defense. It appears that Ole Miss is hot on the trail for the cornerback and is trying their hardest to get him to flip.
Stay tuned for updates regarding Auburn’s 2015 commits!
