Are you ready for this week’s round of “Can Bret Bielema beat an SEC Opponent?”

Bielema has excelled against non-conference foes since coming to Fayetteville – including last week’s 45-17 thrashing of an improved UAB squad, but he can’t get over the hump in conference play. Wouldn’t it be great if he did so against the nation’s top ranked team?
Of course, that’s far from likely. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 1 because they’ve been the best team in the nation through seven games this season, and Arkansas hasn’t won an SEC game in over a year because they’ve been one of the worst teams in the league.
MSU has a ton of talent on both sides of the football, and matches up well to control the Razorbacks’ high-powered rushing attack. The Bulldogs have been great on offense this season, but star quarterback Dak Prescott has been hobbled with a lower leg injury this week. Expect that to lead to a heavy dose of running back Josh Robinson, and therefore, a close game.
