Double-A

Trey Cochran-Gill

Trey Cochran-Gill was taken by the Seattle Mariners in the 17th round of the 2014 MLB Draft after a successful campaign with Auburn baseball. After a couple of very good seasons in rookie ball and the Mariners Low-A affiliate, Cochran-Gill worked his way all the way up to Triple-A in 2015. However, the move may have been bit premature as he started 2016 back at Double-A where he has a 4.20 ERA in 40.2 innings with 36 strikeouts. Bullpen arms are always needed, so if Cochran-Gill can get back on track he could find his way to the big leagues soon.

Garrett Cooper

Garrett Cooper was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 6th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He has gone on to hit at every level he’s played in, making it all the way up to Double-A in 2015. That’s where he currently remains in Biloxi, Miss. playing for the Shuckers. Cooper is batting a solid .318 and has a .378 on-base-percentage with 20 runs, 2 home runs and 38 RBIs. Playing in a Brewers organization that is in the middle of a rebuild, Cooper could get his cup of coffee fairly soon as well.
