12. Visit the Lovelace Hall of Honor

Take a trip into the past of Auburn athletics as you visit the place that has all the history you would ever need to become an Auburn trivial expert. Get a picture of the 1957 and 2010 national title trophies, and reminisce on all of the great athletes that have come through Auburn. If you don’t come out ready to run through a wall, there might be something wrong with you (or you are an Alabama fan.)

11. Freak out over meeting Aubie

I’m 35 years old, and I still become a giddy little child when the nine-time national champion gives me a high five or is even in my presence. Aubie represents the best of everything that is Auburn: spirit, friendliness, and when it comes time, ready to kick some butt for the university (in competition only, of course).

10. Tailgate on Haley Lawn

The once home of the eagle’s nest, Haley Lawn has become a tailgater’s paradise thanks to the efforts of the Tailgate Guys. White tent after white tent appear on fall weekends, friendships are made, and yes, some alcohol is obviously drunk. Food can be catered in, and the proximity to the stadium makes it easy to tailgate until right before kickoff.

9. Cheer on basketball at Auburn Arena

Not since the days of Chris Porter, Doc Robinson, and others has so much hype surrounded the Auburn men’s basketball program. We have head coach Bruce Pearl to thank for that. With a lot of top-ranked recruits coming in, and the atmosphere that has been built by the student section, the Tigers will be a force to reckon with in the near future, and the games will become an event. Don’t miss out.
