No. 2 – 3B Dan Gamache, Minnesota Twins

Gamache, a sixth-round pick in 2011 by the Pittsburgh Pirates, spent the last two years with the AAA Indianapolis Indians, the top minor league club from the Pirates, with whom he was invited to spring training in 2016. But he was released after the season and signed by the Twins. For them, he is currently slated to start the season with its AAA team, the Rochester Red Wings.

Gamache, who can also play second base and first base, batted .244 for Indianapolis in 79 games in 2016, with 2 homers and 22 RBIs. He batted .335 with AA Altoona in 2015, which earned his call up to AAA at the end of that season.

In his sophomore season at Auburn in 2010, Gamache batted .365 with 8 homers and 37 RBIs. He batted .383 in 24 games as a freshman.
