Name: Amarius Mims

High school: Bleckley County (Cochran, GA)

Measurables: 6’7″/315

Rankings (247Sports Composite): No. 6 overall recruit, No. 2 OT, No. 1 in GA

Teams to beat: Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee

Arguably the Tigers top target in the 2021 class, Mims is a top-10 recruit nationally and would be the crown jewel of the Tigers class. With excellent size, power and footwork, Mims will likely be an early starter at whatever school he chooses.

The five-star prospect is scheduled to commit on October 14 and UGA is seen as the heavy favorites to land him. However, nothing is set in stone and Auburn is still in Mims’ top six.

Mims would have the opportunity to be AU’s best tackle since Greg Robinson and he’s already getting buzz as a possible future first-round draft selection. Mims would also give the Tigers their first five-star offensive tackle since Calvin Ashley in 2017.
