Boise State fans made their voice clear on Twitter when they chimed in on the rumor that Bryan Harsin could add Brad Bedell to his Auburn football coaching staff.

Fly War Eagle didn’t hate the idea of Brad Bedell joining Bryan Harsin’s Auburn football staff. On the surface, Boise State has been running the smoothest system of any team in the Mountain West over the past decade.

The Broncos are perennial threats to threaten Power-5 conferences in bowl games, with Oregon, Washington, Arizona State, and Utah all falling to the capital of Idaho’s blue and orange smurf-fielded squad since 2010.

Harsin’s squads have produced elite offenses–at least by Mountain West standards–with Brad Bedell at his side. As I recently penned, Bedell’s resume looks solid:

"We knew coming in that Harsin was a Boise State man through and through, having spent 14 years of his life playing and coaching for the Broncos football program. Now we know that he may add one of his longtime assistants in Brad Bedell, a former NFL offensive linemen and OL coach under Harsin in Idaho’s capital city, according to Jake “Jboy” Crain.Bedell, as Crain points out, has proven himself as a leader of men. Having multiple offensive linemen get all-conference recognition is an amazing feat and having two guys named to the All-Mountain West Football First Team (Ezra Cleveland, Jr., John Molchon) is a sign that Bedell’s professional experience garners the former Colorado Buffalo respect from the men he is assigned to make great."

In sharing the Bedell scoop, I got a window into the thinking of Boise St. fans regarding their current offensive line coach potentially leaving Idaho to join Auburn football on the Plains.

It was enlightening:

This visceral response from Broncos fans is downright scary. Could this be the beginning of a #BlockBrad campaign?
