The fit of every former Auburn football star is paramount at the next level because of the razor-thin margins that exist to see a career be made or broken.

For the Class of 2021 Tigers looking to graduate to the NFL, there is no can’t miss day one talent like Derrick Brown or Noah Igbinoghene, from the 2020 draft. The highest draft pick could be in round 3 or round 4, with Anthony Schwartz or Seth Williams being the first name called from the Plains.

Schwartz has been garnering interest because of his blazing 40-yard-dash time and post-catch burst. Williams has been called a sleeper by PFF due to his knack for creating highlights down the field and in the red zone.

Sleepers oftentimes develop from undervalued studs during draft season and Williams has the potential to be a fantasy football owner’s dream in the right situation.

A great situation for Williams would be the Seattle Seahawks, who have their backs against the wall in 2021 due to a quarterback situation that could further deteriorate due to the wandering eyes of Russell Wilson.

With the Seahawks having seen their stature fallen in the NFC West after a home loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the postseason and ceding the NFC West crown in the years prior to the San Francisco 49ers and Rams, it’s put up or shut up in the Emerald City.

As a potential boundary WR toeing the sidelines in the Seahawks schemes with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett serving as the deep-ball threats on the opposite side of the field, Williams could be a late-round steal that scores plenty with the defensive spotlight shining on Seattle’s top two pass-catchers.

The NFL Draft begins later this week, and with the Seahawks already possessing two lethal weapons in the WR room, former Auburn football star Williams could audition to be the cherry on top as a late-round steal.
