The Auburn football program saw four players drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, with two more being signed post-draft. It wasn’t the greatest draft showing for the Tigers, but then again it wasn’t the best season either.

Despite the issues presented by COVID-19, the difficulty of pro days and scouting exposure, and the coaching switch-up on the Plains, six Auburn men will now be continuing their careers on football’s biggest stage.

Anthony Schwartz went first in the third round, followed by Jamien Sherwood and K.J. Britt in the fifth round, and Seth Williams finally going in the sixth round. Eli Stove and Jordyn Peters signed as free agents, leaving Christian Tutt as the only member of the 2021 Tiger draft squad without a team.

The SEC saw a record 65 players go in the 2021 Draft, according to CBS. Alabama saw the most players drafted overall and in the SEC at 10, while Auburn football had the seventh most players drafted in the SEC at four.

Jersey numbers have finally been assigned to Auburn football’s rookie class of the 2021 NFL Draft, and here are all four:

1. Anthony Schwartz:

Schwartz was drafted in the third round as the 91st overall pick to the Cleveland Browns, and the wide receiver–who is already working out with the likes of Baker Mayfield and Jarvis Landry–will wear #10 in the NFL.

2. Jamien Sherwood:

The 146th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, safety and/or linebacker Jamien Sherwood was selected to the New York Jets and will wear jersey #44.

3. K.J. Britt:

Linebacker K.J. Britt will be reunited with Auburn football alumni Jamal Dean and Carlton Davis in Tampa Bay after being selected 176th overall, and he’ll wear #52 for the Buccaneers.

4. Seth Williams:

The last Tiger to hear his name called, Seth Williams was the 219th overall pick in the sixth round to the Denver Broncos. The wide receiver will wear #19 in the pros after making a name for himself as #18 on the Plains.

Although they didn’t hear their names called during the draft, Jordyn Peters and Eli Stove both signed as free agents. Peters will join Sherwood on the New York Jets, and Stove signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.
