Auburn football head coach Bryan Harsin continues to inspire confidence from noted media figures in anticipation of his first fall roaming the Tiger sidelines.

Paul Finebaum not only believes that Allen Greene nailed the head coaching hire of the former Boise State Broncos lead voice, but he also believes Harsin has won the offseason with the message he has sent in the wake of a disappointing 2020 season for Auburn football.

Now, another prominent voice in the college sports community has spoken out in support of the Boise-turned-Auburn man.

Tim Brando, one of the voices of college football Saturdays on Fox, said on the Jboy Show that Harsin was the real deal and that he himself was a big Harsin fan:

The major drawback from those that choose the unrighteous path in detracting from Harsin’s glow in the spotlight as the most significant coaching hire east of the Mississippi–we’ll give Steve Sarkisian his due in jumping from the National Champions to the University of Texas–is their incorrect thinking that his lack of SEC experience puts AU at risk of finishing with six wins again.

Seven or eight wins in the Harsinal’s first season on the Plains is a realistic goal that could be reached with a week three upset (an upset for now at least) over Penn State at Beaver Stadium or Derek Mason’s defense slowing Ole Miss’ Matt Corral enough for Tank Bigsby to pulverize their bottom-tier point-prevention unit, which was one of just seven teams to cede 50 TDs to opposing offenses in 2020.

Before the games begin, you can chalk another preseason victory in the press for Harsin, who embarks on a year one journey with plenty of support behind him.
