When you play in the SEC, college football’s most elite conference, you’re never going to be playing an easy schedule, so Auburn football is no stranger to daunting schedules. Facing Alabama, Georgia, and LSU every year, among others, the Tigers are quite used to being up against formidable opponents in the fall.

However, this year may bring Auburn football one of the most difficult schedules yet, and during one of the more important years for the program itself. First-year head coach Bryan Harsin has a lot to prove as he takes on an SEC schedule for the first time in his career.

Just in case you needed a reminder that college football is right around the corner, the PFF College Twitter account posted several games from the Tigers’ 2021 schedule and described the upcoming season as “a gauntlet.”

For the most part after week 3, it’s going to be an uphill battle for the Tigers. But fans are prepared, seeing as they’re quite used to Auburn football’s grueling schedules year after year.

There are many doubters, many who think Auburn will only win the first game on the list, but there are also those who are hopeful for a breakout year for the former Boise State head coach and his team.

This fall, the Tigers knock out all four of their non-conference matchups right away, back-to-back. From week five and on, Auburn will be fighting their way through SEC play, starting on the road in Baton. Rouge versus LSU on October 2.
