Auburn football: TJ Finley hijacks Bo Nix “This is the year…” meme
Oh boy, Auburn football fans. In the wake of a tough but hope-inducing loss to Penn State, the Tigers came out and almost blew it at home against Sun Belt opponent Georgia State. Things were not looking great in the second half… and then: TJ Finley has entered the chat.
It seems like ever since Finley transferred to Auburn football from LSU he has been waiting in the wings for Nix to falter. From the very beginning of his time on the Plains, Finley had no intention of sitting on the sidelines.
Where Bo Nix could not, TJ Finley could tonight. And not only did he take over the quarterback role from Nix tonight, but he also took over the ever-popular Bo Nix meme that the quarterback recently turned into a t-shirt to be sold for two great causes.
After the second half of the Tigers’ matchup versus Georgia State, Auburn football fans have decided that when it comes to being a dark horse for Heisman, it might actually be “the year” for TJ Finley:

We won’t know who Bryan Harsin will declare as QB1 for next week’s matchup, but suddenly there’s a strong possibility that TJ Finley will get his first start in orange and blue in his former home stadium.
