Auburn football had a triumphant week seven after they defeated the #17 Arkansas Razorbacks on their own turf. Many were frustrated with the Tigers after their tough loss to the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, but hope has been restored after another victory, one that puts them in place for a possible SEC championship road trip.

One of the most positive things to emerge from the Tigers’ matchup against the Hogs was the performance of third-year quarterback Bo Nix. For three years, Auburn football fans have waited for Nix to reach his full potential, waited for him to have time to survey the field and make accurate throws to receivers.

It all came together on Saturday, so well that PFF graded Nix as the best quarterback under pressure during Week 7:

In Saturday’s matchup versus Arkansas, Bo Nix completed 21 of 26 pass attempts for 292 yards and 2 touchdowns for a completion percentage of 80.8. But the magic didn’t stop there, because Nix also rushed for 42 yards and ran right into the endzone for his second rushing TD of the season.

For the Auburn football fans that have watched Bo Nix for the past two seasons, it’s like a feeling of relief washing over. Will Nix finally reach his full, 5-star potential? It’s possible:

With Bryan Harsin and Mike Bobo on board, it seems that Bo Nix may have turned a corner with his capabilities. Hopefully, things continue to improve for Nix and the Tigers under the new leadership.
