Auburn football fans are losing hope, think Bo Nix will hit transfer portal
There was a moment of celebration a little over a week ago for fans of the Auburn football program.
It seemed as though three-year starting QB Bo Nix had chosen to return to the school he was always on the path to lead, but things are starting to be unclear. With Mike Bobo’s dismissal, Nix could be looking at his fourth offensive coordinator in four years if he does decide to come back. That is unless AU brings back Florida State OC/QB coach Kenny Dillingham, who oversaw the play-calling in Nix’s freshman (and career) year.
Some Tiger fans don’t believe Nix will even see this OC search through, losing hope in his prospects to return to the Plains.
Here is the pessimism going around Auburn Twitter regarding rumors of Nix seeing the transfer portal to find a new home:
There’s nothing official yet, but the rumors of Nix departing were strong at the end of November. So much so, both Fly War Eagle and Fansided came up with potential transfer portal landing spots.
It sure does seem as though Auburn football fans are starting to grow comfortable with the idea of incoming freshman 4-star recruit and Georgia HS state champion QB Holden Geriner, Dematrius Davis, or someone else under center for the Tigers.
