After his Houston Cougars knocked off Auburn 17-13 in the 2021 Birmingham Bowl, UH head coach Dana Holgorsen had quite the unsavory reaction to the postgame media scrum.

Bryan Harsin was given the floor first, and his Q&A with the media took 20 minutes, sparking anger in the winning HC.

Holgorsen was ticked off from the apparent snub of the local media wanting to talk to the man directly responsible for filling up Protective Stadium and giving his Cougars the memory of a lifetime before him, and he let them have it.

Birmingham Fox affiliate sports reporter Lynden Blake had the scoop:

And fans from all corners of the college football world came out to chime in:

Clearly, West Virginians still feel sour about how things left off between the current Cougars and former Mountaineers HC. Those that covered him miss this newsworthy behavior.

Perhaps not as clearly but evident at this point time: Dana Holgorsen needs to enjoy the work his kids put in all year to get to this point and not worry about whatever it is concerning him enough to lose his cool to this degree.

Drop the attitude my guy, you just won the Birmingham Bowl and the glorious Vulcan-inspired trophy that comes with it.
