It’s been a busy day in the Auburn basketball world. A reporter from Columbia, South Carolina whined about Bruce Pearl and LSU’s Will Wade being cheaters at the top of the SEC before getting shut down on Twitter and deleting the tweet.
Murray State’s Tevin Brown also ended a cold war between Auburn basketball Twitter and the Murray State men’s basketball account by posting a tweet of the final score after the Racer’s Twitter handle wouldn’t post the final score in fear of a patented Tiger meme blast.
Well, to top it all off, Murray State’s 67-44 victory over the TN State Tigers, in which Brown went for 11 points and five rebounds, spurned a meme blast in support of Brown and the Racers from the Auburn family.
Check out all of this deep-fried glory:
While it wasn’t a great day to be a Tennessee State Tiger, it certainly was a great day for Tevin Brown, who may have just landed himself a scholarship with Auburn basketball if Bruce Pearl has a sense of humor (he has it in spades) and a thirst for a dynamic scoring graduate transfer in the portal this year averaging a shade under 20 points per game this season and being a key starter the past four years in the Bluegrass State.
Brown would be an incredible addition to AU in the future if the planets ever aligned in such a deliciously satisfying way. In reality, he’d be an incredible addition to the NBA too, but Auburn could get him there. Just ask Sharife Cooper, JT Thor, Isaac Okoro, and Chuma Okeke.
