With several of Auburn football’s receivers hitting the NCAA transfer portal following the 2021 season, head coach Bryan Harsin and his staff will be looking to add more talent to Eric Kiesau’s position group ahead of 2022.

Though the transfer portal has been active and busy following the new one-year transfer eligibility rule, there are still several receivers out there for the Tigers to pursue.

The first wide receiver just entered the transfer portal this morning after seeing no action on the field as a true freshman. Kaemen Marley, a 4-star receiver out of high school, signed with the Tennessee Volunteers in 2020 but will be looking for a new school in 2022.

Marley was a former top-100 recruit but arrived late to Tennessee due to academic issues, per Volunteer Country, and suffered a hand injury that set him back even further once he arrived at Rocky Top. Before entering the transfer portal, he was set to move from the WR position to the LB position for the Vols.

The next receiver still available to pursue is former Syracuse WR Taj Harris, who entered the portal back in October. Though he was set to be a Wildcat for about a month, Harris decommitted from Kentucky in December and is still on the market.

One of the most productive receivers in the ACC during his three years with Syracuse, Harris recorded 151 catches for 2,028 yards and 10 touchdowns. Prior to his Kentucky commitment, Harris was being pursued hard by Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Utah State, Western Kentucky, and Mississippi State, according to 247Sports.

Now, with several openings at the WR position, Auburn football could potentially have great offers for both Marley and Harris.

Next. Fans remain optimistic about Caleb Williams. dark
