Just one week ahead of National Signing Day on February 2, Sports Illustrated released its list of top prospects from the recruiting class of 2022, and three Auburn football commits made the cut.

The Postseason SI99 is made up of the top high school football seniors from around the country in the class of 2022. SI reports that the most prospects on the list came from Texas, with 15 prospects, Florida with 14, and Georgia with 11. However, the programs with the most verbal commits from prospects on the list are Alabama with 12, Texas A&M with 11, Georgia with 10, and Ohio State with eight.

Six prospects from the state of Alabama made the list, and four of them have committed to UA while the other two decided to commit to Auburn and Texas.

The three Auburn football commits on the list are offensive tackle Eston Harris Jr., nickel JaDarian Rhym, and tight end Micah Riley-Ducker.

SI99 Commit #1: Eston Harris Jr.

Currently, the only offensive line commit in the Tigers’ recruiting class of 2022, Eston Harris Jr. is listed as the #84 recruit in the SI99. Out of Auburn High School, Harris committed to Bryan Harsin’s program in mid-October 2021 and signed with the program on December 15.

The 4-star is the #27 OT in the recruiting class of 2022, and the #13 recruit out of the state of Alabama, according to 247Sports. Harris is the fifth-best offensive tackle to be named on the list behind #17 Elijah Pritchett (Alabama), #28 Kelvin Banks (Texas), #43 Josh Conerly (undecided), and #45 Collin Sadler (Clemson).
