Most of the Auburn football receivers that departed QB transfer Bo Nix threw to last season followed him out the door.
Kobe Hudson landed with former Auburn football head coach Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights, while Ja’Varrius Johnson currently has interest from Ole Miss after entering the transfer portal yesterday.
With so much turnover in the WR room, expect Class of 2022 signees to shoulder a significant load, which isn’t the worst thing in the world if the talent is there and synergy is established with one of the QB transfers that replaced Nix.
Tiger fans had varied reactions to that fact, pointed out by On3 Sports’ Justin Hokanson:
This is what happens when you have an administration , coaching staff , and boosters all involved with the program and it doesn't help that fans are always so damn critical of everything

No one knew how many players left when coach Dye arrived. I’m guessing it’s a lot more than what we’re seeing now. And we all know how that turned out.

Maybe @AuburnFootball can pick up some Michigan Football transfers from the Harbaugh NFL deal.

Seems as though that might have been the plan all along. To bring in his type of players, and let them learn by going with the baptism by fire method. Remember his quote, "do you want it right? Or right now?" He's filtering out those whom don't wanna do things his way. I like it

Some hope, some doom, some gloom, and some sunshine pumping. Everything you’d expect from the Auburn family in the face of more adversity for the football program.
