With Ike Hilliard signing on to the Auburn football program as the wide receivers coach heading into 2022, recruiting wideouts has become a major priority for the recruiting class of 2023. So far, the Tigers have offered over 23 receivers but have received no commits, and some of those receivers have already committed to other top programs around the country.

Most recently, Auburn football extended an offer to the No. 1 recruit out of the state of North Carolina in wide receiver Noah Rogers. The #58 recruit in the class of 2023 and the #10 wide receiver, Rogers has received a multitude of offers from programs around the country and they’re still rolling in.

Auburn enters the mix along with Clemson, Georgia, Penn State, Miami, Texas A&M, and Ohio State, among others, and Rogers is being heavily prioritized by NC State and Tennessee.

According to Wolfpack Central, Rogers has unofficially visited South Carolina, Penn State, North Carolina, NC State, and Tennessee throughout the fall. Volunteer Country reports that although Rogers enjoyed his visit for the Ole Miss game, Kodi Burns’ departure for the New Orleans Saints could have an impact on his recruitment to Rocky Top.

With Kelsey Pope named as the new position coach just two days ago, the Vols will have to work hard to keep up the strong relationship with Rogers, and that could provide a window for Ike Hilliard and Auburn football to step in and take things to the next level with the WR.

In his high school career at Rolesville, Rogers has recorded 2,270 total yards on 102 catches and 33 receiving touchdowns. This past season, in 15 games played, Rogers totaled 70 receptions for 1,432 yards and 22 touchdowns in addition to five carries for 15 yards and one rushing touchdown. Noah Rogers would no doubt be an elite addition to Auburn football’s wide receivers room in 2023.
