Bo Nix continues to make Auburn Tigers fans have the worst sense of FOMO in the country.
On October 22, during AU’s bye week, Nix uncorked a 49-yard touchdown bomb to Troy Franklin, the Ducks’ leader in receptions (27) and receiving yards (429) heading into Saturday’s game, to give Oregon a 17-10 lead in the first quarter of a Pac-12 slugfest between No. 9 UCLA and Nix’s No. 10 Ducks.

While no one would confuse the Bruins with a top defense in the country, Nix’s 49-yard toss was the result of having adequate time in the pocket to sit back and find his favorite target Franklin on a go-route.
Bo Nix FOMO is reaching a fever pitch in Auburn
While Robby Ashford is starting to find his stride under center, it’s highly unlikely his year-end total will have anything on Bo Nix’s. Ashford spent the first several games splitting snaps with T.J. Finley, and while his post-Tank Bigsby argument efforts against Ole Miss indicate that the Hoover product has found his footing, Nix is being talked about…*gulp*…in Heisman conversations.
In fact, Twitter lit up with the Bo Nix Heisman meme made famous on the Plains in the lead-up to the 2021 season:
This is the year. Bo Nix has improved so much under this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a dark horse for the Heisman. https://t.co/IKCuEDCtXS

Don’t it always seem to go, that you don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone…
