Auburn football defensive tackle addition via the transfer portal, Lawrence Johnson, laid down the law when he called out AL.com for incorrectly listing him as an offensive lineman.
The former Purdue Boilermaker quote-tweeted the local media giant on Twitter with a correction and an emoji that Emojipedia — which is, in fact, a real thing — says may represent such feelings or states as intoxication, infatuation, bewilderment, irritation, disgust, exhaustion, wackiness, or complete satisfaction.
We’re going to go with irritated:
DL* 🥴 https://t.co/OesDaDm56w

As On3’s Justin Hokanson pointed out, that wasn’t even the only error AL.com made:
Lawrence Johnson is a DL, not OL. Avery Jones is coming from East Carolina, not Illinois.

Auburn football fans drag AL.com for anti-AU and pro-Alabama slants
Auburn football fans let Lawrence Johnson know that AL.com is not a publication they feel worth listening to anyway, pointing out a perceived anti-AU and pro-Alabama slant:
AL. com is a joke. We as Auburn fans do not claim or respect them

Rule #1 is to ignore https://t.co/CR8CRGIKr3 as a publication

Don’t worry @law_jay09, https://t.co/2odWsrbWgQ is the least Auburn-Friendly News source around. You’ll quickly learn this. Glad to have you sir. War Damn

Man, you’ll sadly learn @aldotcomSports is literally a bammer website run by infants. Don’t ever worry about what comes out of there.

Considering the anti-Hugh Freeze pieces released on that site — including but not limited to a wildly distasteful cartoon graphic and the thinking that Trent Dilfer could out-recruit him at UAB — it’s not a shock that they would mis-characterize some of his incoming transfer portal recruits.
