Auburn football often likes to keep it in the family, with several notable players throughout the years seeing their brothers, sons, etc. recruited by the Tigers as well. Famous examples include Patrick and his son Bo Nix, and Colby and his brother Caleb Wooden.

Another AU family member will be joining the program in the future: Class of 2026 defensive end recruit, Keenan Britt, the brother of current Tampa Bay Buccaneers and former Tigers linebacker K.J. Britt.

The elder Oxford, Alabama-born Britt shared the pride of younger brother Keenan’s offer on his Twitter page:

The Auburn football staff has been building its 2024 class

It’ll be a long time before Keenan Britt will be lining up in the trenches on the Plains or elsewhere in college football — though given his brother’s NFL success, it’s tough to expect him to want to go elsewhere unless he joins wherever Gus Malzahn is coaching by then — but the much more relevant Class of 2024 is being built as we speak.

While Adrian Posse has abandoned ship following Bryan Harsin’s October 31 exit, Freeze is hot on the trail looking for a signal-caller to take his place in the QB room. Little Rock Christian Academy QB Walker White is currently crystal-balled to Ole Miss, but he could certainly change his mind if Lane Kiffin falls behind following two big seasons in Oxford, Mississippi.

Beyond the quarterback position, DL Malik Blocton and WR Perry Thompson are both actively visiting and have been offered, while the Tigers are in the top 6 for CB Jayden Lewis. Freeze and co. are focused on building the entire roster, though their offensive line focus is primarily on the 2023 cycle since the previous regime did little to shore up that area.
