The Auburn football team is racking up official visits this summer with prospects from all over the country setting their dates.
Earlier this week, two 5-star prospects—jack linebacker Jamonta Waller and safety KJ Bolden—locked in their official visit dates with the Tigers, as well as 4-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood.
Now, another big recruit has confirmed he will officially visit the Tigers this summer on the weekend of June 9-11. 4-star safety Kensley Faustin from Naples, FL, announced the visit on his Twitter page, mentioning secondary coaches Zac Etheridge and Wesley McGriff as well as head coach Hugh Freeze:
The safety, who also participates in Track and Field at his high school, racked up 46 tackles, seven interceptions, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries as a junior in 2022.
Faustin is ranked as the #403 overall prospect and the #35 safety in the recruiting class of 2024 and is the #62 player out of the state of Florida. According to his On3 recruiting profile, Faustin has visited Texas A&M, Iowa State, LSU, Florida, Miami, Florida State, and UCF. He has set upcoming official visits to UCF (June 3) and Florida State (June 23) in addition to his trip to the Plains, which will be his first visit to Auburn’s campus.
However, Auburn Undercover’s Christian Clemente reports that the coaching staff has been down to Florida to visit Faustin, and that they’ve stayed in constant contact with him throughout his recruitment. He does not yet have a commitment date set.
Currently, Auburn football has five commits in the recruiting class of 2024 in QB Walker White, RB J’Marion Burnette, cornerbacks A’Mon Lane and Jayden Lewis, and ATH Martavious Collins (who will play tight end). The class is ranked #29 overall.
