Incoming Auburn football players receive official jersey numbers
When the Auburn football team takes the field in Jordan-Hare Stadium this September, fans can expect to see a lot of new faces in orange and blue. After Hugh Freeze took the job as head coach, he hit the ground running on the recruiting trail, focusing on both high school and transfer portal athletes.
The Tigers will welcome more than 20 transfers to the Plains this fall, including eight players that signed with Auburn football from the spring transfer portal window in April. 11 members of the 2023 class are also arriving this summer, joining up with the rest of the freshman who were able to enroll early and get a head start with the team earlier this year.
Listed below are the eight incoming transfers from the spring portal window and their official jersey numbers, per Auburn Undercover:

The remaining members of the 2023 class (excluding Daquayvious Sorey and Quientrail Jamison-Travis, who are still not on the Tigers’ roster) also received their jersey numbers:

With all the new players on the team, there are high hopes from the fan base that the Auburn football team will see massive improvements from 2022, and will be a more successful, competitive team.
