4. Eugene Asante, junior

Hybrid linebackers are becoming a commodity in the NFL with players like Micah Parsons and even Drew Sanders who was drafted in the middle rounds by Denver this past season, who are effective as off-ball linebackers or pass-rushers. That’s exactly what Eugene Asante projects to be.

Asante may not be not at the level of Parsons or even Sanders, who has only played sparingly for the Broncos, but he could be a very intriguing chess piece at 6-foot-1 and 222 pounds.

Despite playing at UNC for three seasons before his previous two years at Auburn, Asante is still technically only a junior, so could return if the NFL doesn’t come calling.
