The three-day early signing period that starts on December 20 is right around the corner, and the Auburn football program is starting to turn up the heat on some high-profile recruits. Head coach Hugh Freeze and his staff got a major win over the weekend when 5-star wide receiver Cam Coleman flipped from Texas A&M. Could they be close to pulling off another big flip?
Many of the Tigers’ top recruits in the class of 2024 have been flips. Though it has taken some time, Freeze seems to have earned the trust of highly-ranked prospects, and they believe in the vision that Freeze has set before them on the Plains. It seems that 5-star KJ Bolden has begun to see the vision, too.
It was widely reported that Bolden, who has been committed to the Florida State Seminoles since August, was back on the Plains for another unofficial visit with Auburn football this week.
Chop Chat, the FanSided site covering all things Florida State, believes that there is no reason for FSU fans to worry about a flip at the current moment. Although Bolden has been to Auburn quite a few times, he will have an official visit with the Seminoles just five days before the early signing period.
Meanwhile, some folks on Auburn Twitter thinks there is absolutely a reason for FSU fans to worry about a flip. Somehow, a rumor began circulating that today could be the day that the 5-star safety pledges allegiance to the Tigers:
Hugh Freeze is slated for an in-home visit with Bolden tomorrow, which could be the final push for the Peach State safety. There’s obviously no timeline for a flip, but things are looking good for Auburn football this close to the early signing period.
