A few days after criticizing Auburn's offense in the Tigers' 23-17 double overtime loss to Missouri, 5-star safety Bralan Womack is set to make a visit to rival LSU this weekend.
An Auburn commit since last August, Womack made headlines after the fourth-straight loss by Hugh Freeze's squad, saying that nothing has changed for the Tigers' offense in the past few weeks.
"The honest truth in how I'm feeling right now, the defense has got to stop leaving the game up to the offense," Womack said. "At this point, the defense — in the college world we live in now — you've got to score 20 or more points to compete. And we've done that zero times in SEC play."
On Monday, Womack tried to explain his comments on Twitter, stating that he was still committed to Auburn and looked forward to helping steer the program toward winning ways.
"In regard to the article that's circulating, I want to clear the air," Womack wrote. "My intentions were never to bad mouthAuburn's offense. I'm just a competitor who's passionate about the game and excited about what's being built here. Auburn has so much potential, and I can't wait to be a part of it. I just don't want anything taken out of context from what I said about the recent games. I will continue to support my team win, lose or draw, but I will also continue to hold us to the highest standard! War Eagle!"
Womack is the top-ranked safety and No. 14 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
