During a major rebuild of its roster after a historic season and Final Four run, the Auburn basketball team got great news from its most highly ranked transfer addition. Guard/forward Keyshawn Hall, who transferred from UCF in early April, has withdrawn his name from the NBA draft process. Instead, he will focus on preparing for the 2025-26 season with the Tigers.

Hall declared for the draft when he entered the portal in early April. It was more likely that he declared in order to get feedback from NBA personnel than with an expectation to get drafted. He was the leading scorer in the Big 12 last season and was rated as the No. 20 overall transfer during this cycle by 247 Sports.

While playing for the Knights last season, Hall averaged 18.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from behind the three-point line.

"He can play 2 through 5," Auburn assistant Steven Pearl said at the Final Four, per Auburn Undercover. "He played 5 when he was 300 pounds a couple years ago (at UNLV). He's progressed down to a small forward, power forward. He's a guy that's incredibly versatile, can do a lot of things for us on both ends of the floor. You can see what his game has evolved into. He's a talented scorer, he can put the ball on the floor and do things with it that most guys are not capable of doing."

Hall is one of many transfer additions to Auburn basketball during this offseason. Tahaad Pettiford, who has retained eligibility but is testing the NBA Draft waters, could potentially be the only returning player from the Tigers' Final Four squad after Chad Baker-Mazara shocked everyone by entering the transfer portal.
