The War Eagle family has helped Auburn sell out all their early home games and their three highlight matchups this season. Alex Golesh hasn’t even coached a snap yet, so this is a big step in showing support for him as he tries to rebuild Auburn’s identity. Bringing an intensity not seen since Nick Saban joined Alabama. He has put together a top 10 recruiting class so far, and for Auburn that means something.
This team has been famished with problems at the helm with the Bryan Harsin-to-Hugh Freeze transition, especially Freeze never living up to the hype. Now those problems looks to be no more as Alex Golesh has taken over. His charisma has taken over this program and has brought real hype to this team. Selling out these three games bodes well to build confidence in the community that already said they won’t support the program until there are wins. Which is understandable, the Plains have been bad for a while.

How does Golesh repay this favor? He goes out and wins these games. Every one of these games is as important as the rest, but these are even more so because Auburn doesn’t have many good home games. They play at both Tennessee and Georgia, then Ole Miss. Those games should be sold out as well given the stories behind them, but these games will definitely be major building blocks in Golesh’s trial by fire schedule.
If Auburn doesn’t take these games for granted, they could propel themselves way up the rankings. Vandy was very tough last year and looking to be just as competitive. Then there is LSU, which just added Lane Kiffin and a slew of huge star talent in recruiting. If Auburn could win both of those games there is no telling where they could be ranked nationally. From there, if they keep that momentum rolling they could be lightning in a bottle and flip the power in Alabama and keep it.
Tickets for Auburns last two remaining home games versus Arkansas and Samford are almost gone according to their website. So you may want to take a gander at those last two games at Jordan-Hare before it's too late. Arkansas can be a fun game to watch, and hopefully Samford is the blowout Mercer was last year.
