Deuce Knight is starting to loosely remind me of my ex- singing the praises of his commitment to Auburn, yet continuously flirting with another school.

Knight has been nothing but positively vocal about Auburn and his commitment to coach Hugh Freeze on X; lately, he commented on those who thought Auburn basketball would not perform well in the Maui Invitational.

Following the Texas A&M game, Knight was incredibly outspoken about his commitment to Auburn, even being the one of the first to rush the field following the Tigers’ massive win. He took to X after the game with a locker room flick with the team, stating “WDE!! It’s up next fall!!”

The Mississippi native even weighs in on his confidence in certain recruits' chances at coming to Auburn, such as five-star PLUS CB Na’eem Offord.

Despite all of this, Knight will be in Oxford for the Egg Bowl this year, as an official guest of Lane Kiffen and Ole Miss. As such, many Auburn faithful have begun to have some pretty serious concerns about Knight’s future with the Tigers -- despite what his words would have them believe.

The old adage stands truer than ever: actions speak louder than words. Knight’s rushed the field two weeks straight now, once with Ole Miss after their win over Georgia, and now once with the Tigers after what many refer to as the game of the year.

With that said, many see Knight’s visit to Ole Miss as a potential nail in the coffin for the five-star QB, but others dismiss this as just the QB’s way of getting to watch a free game from the sidelines, especially since Auburn has an away game this week.

Whatever the case, this situation is definitely worth keeping a pretty serious eye on.
