Auburn football will play yet another edition of the Iron Bowl this weekend as the Tigers welcome Alabama to Jordan-Hare Stadium. There have been many great matchups in this rivalry as the Crimson Tide and Tigers always know how to put on a show, even when one team has struggled.
The Tigers are currently without a head coach, while the Crimson Tide is fighting to stay in the field of the College Football Playoff, two very different fates right now. Auburn has a chance to play spoiler for their most bitter rival right now if they are able to pull off the huge upset against Alabama and dash their CFP hopes away.
Thinking back on this bitter rivalry, though, while there have been so many big games and even bigger moments, no play will ever be bigger than the Kick Six.

In 2013, both Auburn and Alabama were vying for a spot in the BCS National Championship game, and it was all coming down to who was going to win the Iron Bowl. The game was set to go into overtime, until former Alabama head coach challenged a play in the final seconds of the fourth quarter in order to get one second back on the game clock.
That one second just might haunt Saban for the rest of his life.
Instead of kneeling and going into overtime, where the Tide could have had a good chance to win the game, Saban sent his field goal unit out onto the field for a 57-yard attempt. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn at the time decided to put a returner in the end zone in case the kick was short and it could be run back at all.
That choice, as the story goes, was the best decision Malzahn could have made as returner Chris Davis fielded the short kick and ran the ball back 100 yards for the touchdown in order to win the game. The call of the game will certainly go down in history as one of the best play-by-play calls, with everyone in the stands and apparently in the broadcast booth going absolutely insane.
While the Tigers didn't go on to win the National Championship game, they still have that amazing memory that they are able to bring out every year when the Iron Bowl rolls around.
