One of the primary reasons of Jackson Arnold transferring from the Oklahoma Sooners was not winning. However much he and his team tried, Arnold just didn't seem to work out in Norman.

Auburn Tigers' Hugh Freeze, however, had faith still in Arnold's talent after studying his high school film.

He didn't bat an eye when taking him under his wing, but it might be in the same wing that Arnold may face a nightmarish loss against his former team.

CBS Sports' Brad Crawford believes Auburn's first loss in the 2025 season will come against Brent Venables' Oklahoma in Week 3.

"Auburn will be nationally ranked going to Norman in Week 4 on the heels of a 3-0 start highlighted by a season-opening victory at Baylor that will recharge the fanbase a bit," Crawford wrote, tabbing their season-opener against Baylor an easy win for the Tigers.

"Then, we're going to watch two high-powered offenses go at it with former Sooners quarterback Jackson Arnold making his much-anticipated return to Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Unfortunately, for the third straight season under Hugh Freeze, the Tigers will drop their SEC opener."

One can only imagine the backlash that would follow for Arnold if he fails to perform up to expectations in this game.

That said, on a positive note, Freeze is decidedly confident in the ones around Arnold and, of course, in Arnold himself. The Tigers' coach has been repeatedly praising the football finesse oozing out of his deep wide receiver room.

Arnold is pointing out things that he needs to improve by himself when attending pressers, admitting which, in front of the public seems like a big step in working towards them.

Auburn travels to the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Sept. 20.
