With transfer portal recruiting nearly wrapped up, the Auburn football coaching staff is shifting gears back to high school recruiting with a new focus on the class of 2026.
4-star edge Hezekiah Harris was one of the first players to commit to the Tigers last summer during Big Cat Weekend, and is ranked as the #3 player out of Alabama and the #7 edge in the 2026 class. This week, head coach Hugh Freeze, defensive coordinator DJ Durkin and defensive line coach Vontrell King-Williams traveled to Harris' high school for a visit, reaffirming the edge's decision to commit to Auburn football.
"It means a lot," Harris said, per Auburn Rivals. "I have a great relationship with Coach (Hugh) Freeze and staff. And I’m glad they came to see me. I feel great about my commitment with Auburn," Harris said. "I’m locked in with Auburn. They’ve recruited me harder than anybody."
Where are Auburn football's outgoing transfers?
After the December transfer portal window, the Auburn football program has brought in 16 transfers so far. 18 former Auburn Tigers elected to enter the transfer portal for other schools. Below are all of the outgoing transfers who have committed to another school.

The remaining Auburn football players in the portal, including Keionte Scott, TJ Lindsey, Holden Geriner, among others, have yet to commit to a new program.
