The Denver Broncos face the New Orleans Saints on the October 17 edition of Thursday Night Football. Instead of promoting Bo Nix or one of his Broncos teammates, though, TNF put Sean Payton on the graphic opposite Saints DE Cameron Jordan.

The disrespect...

Nix was the driving force behind a 34-18 win against the Las Vegas Raiders on October 6, solidifying his role as Denver's main hope of ending their eight-year playoff drought. During the game, Nix went viral for getting up in Payton's face before leading the Broncos back from down double-digits against the Raiders.

One would think Nix earned the right to represent Denver on that graphic. Or at least Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds, or Riley Moss.

Nope. Amazon wanted to clown the Broncos and they successfully did since social media isn't going to look into Denver's three-game win-streak before clowning on Broncos Country for the graphic.

Bo Nix still being doubted despite early-season success with the Broncos

Nix has been leading Denver to great heights so far in 2024 but not everyone has been won over by his performance. One unnamed GM still worries about Nix's accuracy and wonders if his ceiling is limited because of it.

"[Nix] does a lot of things how Sean wants them done and he's shown some toughness," the exec told Broncos reporter Jeff Legwold this week (h/t On SI). "The accuracy worries you a bit because he's not pushing the ball downfield much and still the accuracy isn't always there ... but the rookies who play at that position have to be ready to fight through it because there will be plenty of things to fight through."

Nix has gone through the Auburn Tigers fanbase turning on him, so these doubts are nothing in comparison. Still, it can't feel great to be winning at the pro level and still hear people tell you can't do it.

Overcoming them will further Nix's legacy on the other side, though.
