Kayin Lee, who appeared in all but one game during his three years at Auburn, announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Sunday.

The cornerback was productive from the very first game with the Tigers in 2023 after being a part of Hugh Freeze’s first recruiting class on the Plains. As a junior this past season, Lee recorded 31 tackles, four passes broken up and an interception, with his best game coming against Mercer when he put up six tackles, five of which were solo. His one interception came in the 23-17 overtime loss to Missouri.

As a sophomore in 2024, the Ellenwood, Ga., native picked off two passes while breaking up seven passes with 32 total tackles.

Lee joins Jay Crawford and A’Mon Lane-Ganus as members of Auburn’s secondary who have declared their intent to enter the portal. He is also the second Auburn player to declare their intent on Sunday, joining quarterback Ashton Daniels.
