Bruce Pearl has already taken the Auburn Tigers to the Final Four once in his 10 years as the program’s head coach but after last year’s disappointing first-round loss to Yale, the pressure is on the leader of the No. 1 team in the country, to get back.

Back in 2019, Auburn and Pearl came up just two wins short of a national title, falling to Virginia, the eventual champion, 63-62 in the Final Four in Minneapolis. That was Auburn’s first Final Four appearance, and since nearly winning it all, Pearl hasn’t gotten the Tigers beyond the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. This year, it looks like that will finally change.

Auburn has held onto its top spot in the AP Poll for seven weeks and is poised for the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, so if they do navigate their way through the madness of March, where will the Tigers and their fans be heading on the quest for the program’s first national championship?

Where is the 2025 Final Four?

The Final Four will take place on April 5 with the National Championship Game to be played on Monday, April 7.

San Antonio has hosted the men’s and women’s Final Four seven times, all since 1998. The most recent Final Four in the city was the 2021 Women’s Final Four.

Where is the Final Four for the next five years?

  • 2026: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, IN)
  • 2027: Ford Field (Detroit, MI)
  • 2028: Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas, NV)
  • 2029: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, IN)
  • 2030: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)

One of the event's most popular sites is Indianapolis, the site of the 2021 Final Four, which was a limited spectacle due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Final Four will return to Indy twice in the next five years, and will certainly remain in the rotation beyond the future schedule.

Las Vegas makes its first appearance as the Final Four host in 2028. Legalized gambling and the growth of professional franchises in the city have expedited its inclusion as a Super Bowl and Final Four host. Allegiant Stadium hosted Super Bowl LVIII as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers on February 11, 2024.
