Longtime college football radio host Greg Swaim hinted at an SEC or Big Ten invite for 14 different schools -- OK State, Kansas, NC State, GA Tech, Pitt, Duke, Miami, Louisville, VA Tech, Arizona, FSU, Utah, Clemson, and Texas A&M, the latter which would be jumping from the SEC to the B1G -- in a cryptic post stressing the uncertainty of the sport.

"In conference realignment all hell is about to break loose, with the B1G and SEC playing hardball...and they can afford to," Swaim prefaced before saying, "If your Big 12 or ACC team get a bid, at this point, of course you MUST take it. Not only for the money, but the ridiculous uncertainty of what the future holds!"

Sifting through it, Kansas, Arizona, Duke, Miami, GA Tech, Pitt, Utah, and Texas A&M would all be suitable options for the Big Ten due to their AAU accreditation; leaving OK State, NC State, Louisville, VA Tech, FSU, and Clemson as potential SEC teams.

Big Ten will 'definitely' have a school in Texas by 2026, making Texas A&M rumor a distinct possibility

Swaim's B1G source reported that the Big Ten will "definitely" have a school in Texas by the 2026 season, lending credence to the idea that Texas A&M will be joining that conference sooner than later.

"Received an e-mail 10 minutes ago from our Chicago B1G source, that said 'The B1G will definitely have a Texas school by 2026,'" Swaim prefaced before saying, "As we reported months ago, TAMU and the B10 have been having serious third party talks for over six months."

With Texas entering the SEC, TAMU can separate itself on the recruiting trail and boost its brand's academic standards by joining the Big Ten. Aggies boosters pushed for SEC admission in 2012 to distinguish itself from the Longhorns and may do so again almost a decade and a half later.
