In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, Auburn football makes 4-star CJ May's final four and EA Sports snubs JHS in CFB25
The Auburn football coaching staff is working on cementing their recruiting class of 2025, and all over the country there are recruits getting closer to making a final decision. Over the weekend, 4-star linebacker CJ May dropped his top four schools, including Syracuse, Louisville, Washington, and Auburn football.
From Highland Home, Alabama, May hails from the same town as Keldric and Jakaleb Faulk and is ranked as the #24 edge in the recruiting class of 2025 and the #16 prospect out of the state. May originally committed to Notre Dame last September, but decommitted and reopened his recruitment a couple months ago.
Though the Tigers may have slid down in May's recruitment recently, he was on campus earlier this year for a visit. He plans to announce his commitment on July 13 choosing between his four finalists.
EA Sports snubs JHS in CFB25
It's CFB25 Rankings week, which means that EA Sports will be releasing various rankings for college football teams in the leadup to the release of the highly-anticipated video game. Tuesday the company released the Top 25 toughest places to play with a graphic listing the top 10.
Naturally, Jordan-Hare Stadium, which has been accused of having voodoo magic and is notoriously one of the more difficult environments in college football, was left out of the top 10. Most of the rankings were laughable, anyway, with Texas A&M's Kyle Field at the #1 spot followed by Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium. If the goal was to generate engagement rather than put out an accurate list, EA Sports College got the job done, for sure.
In the full top 25, Jordan-Hare Stadium came in at #14. SEC schools' stadiums that ranked higher than Jordan-Hare include Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, and Tennessee.
