In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, the football program is already recruiting Cam Coleman's younger brother Bobby, and a 4-star quarterback is expected for a visit this weekend
The biggest pickup for the Auburn football program in the recruiting class of 2024 is undoubtedly 5-star wide receiver Cam Coleman, but there's plenty of talent to go around in the Coleman family. The Tigers' coaching staff has already begun recruiting Cam's younger brother, Bobby.
Bobby Coleman Jr. is a quarterback out of Central High School in the recruiting class of 2027 and is not yet ranked as a rising 10th grader. So far, he has five offers from Texas A&M, Alabama State, Georgia, Georgia State, and Auburn football.
Coleman was in Auburn over the weekend for the Tigers' elite camp and worked closely with quarterbacks coach Kent Austin. It's early in the QB's recruiting process, but he's already liking what he sees from Auburn football.
"I really like the coaches, just the family," Coleman said, per Auburn Rivals. "How I feel like family when I come up here. I’m not a part of this team, but my brother is and I’m part of it too. They really treat me like family every chance I get to come up here."
4-star quarterback expected for visit this weekend
In the summertime, weekends are for recruiting visits, and this weekend the Tigers are expected to host 4-star QB Helaman Casuga. He is scheduled to be on the Plains on June 9 in between visits to Clemson (June 5) and Alabama (June 10), per 247 Sports' Blair Angulo.
From Draper, Utah, Casuga is ranked as the #4 prospect out of his state and the #14 quarterback in the recruiting class of 2026. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound QB is keeping his recruitment wide open for now with over 15 scholarship offers already acquired.
