In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, Auburn basketball defeats Florida to win the SEC tournament and the NCAA March Madness bracket is set

It was a picture-perfect ending to the SEC Tournament for the Auburn basketball team. Despite a slow start, the Tigers ultimately found their rhythm and had head coach Bruce Pearl in tears near the end of the second half. With an 86-67 victory over the Florida Gators, the Auburn Tigers are your 2024 SEC Tournament Champions for the third time in program history.

Johni Broome was the Tigers' leading scorer with 19 points. Chad Baker-Mazara and Denver Jones followed with 10 and 11 points, respectively. It was a game that was largely won by the defensive effort and ended up being the perfect revenge game for the dramatic loss the Tigers took from the Gators earlier this season.

The Tigers took care of business in the SEC Tournament. Six wins to go.
