When it comes to the class of 2025, recruiting is in full swing for head coach Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers. Freeze has made it a goal since his arrival on the Plains to beef up the trenches and stock up on linemen, and he is following through in his recruiting class.

Things are trending up when it comes to 4-star offensive tackle Broderick Shull from Bixby, Oklahoma. The OT visited the Plains back in March, and has set an official visit for the month of June. According to On3 Sports' Chad Simmons, Auburn football is in good shape with Shull:

"Things are lining up nicely for Auburn when it comes to. They check a lot of boxes for not only him, but for his family. Shull likes the staff, the community and the people on the Plains. His father, an engineer, has connections to a professor on campus as well. Auburn is leading the way heading into official visits. Texas Tech was the first school to offer Shull, but Texas A&M looks to be Auburn’s biggest competitor at this time."

Meanwhile, the coaching staff is also perusing the transfer portal for talented pieces to add to the 2024 roster. One of those potential additions, former Miami edge Nyjalik Kelly, is expected to visit Auburn football this week.

AL.com's Matt Zenitz reports that Kelly is currently visiting UCF and also has plans to visit Missouri. From Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kelly was a 4-star prospect out of high school and committed to Miami in the class of 2022. After two seasons with the Canes, he recorded 19 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks.
